The Children’s Christmas Parade will take place at Peach Street at 16th St. in downtown Atlanta. Families, kids, groups, and everyone else are welcome — come one, come all! General admission to watch the parade is absolutely free!
- Christmas With the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra – December 8th & 9th
What’s Christmas without the carols? Music Director Robert Shaw will be leading the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in this wonderful performance of Christmas and other holiday favorites. Come to hear new compositions and of course to appreciate all of the old traditional tunes you know and love.
- Macy’s Tree Lighting Ceremony – November 18th (7pm)
This event is just around the corner. Come see the magic of the holiday season light up on the huge Macy’s Great Tree. This event will take place at 7 PM on Lenox Square in downtown Atlanta. General admission is absolutely free, and families, kids, and everyone else are all welcome to enjoy the splendor of this tree lighting ceremony.
- Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker – November 24th (7pm)
Treat yourself to an amazing performance by the Moscow Ballet. This tour will be stopping in Atlanta on November 24th. Come to the Ferst Center for the Arts at Georgia Tech at 7 PM to enjoy this amazing performance by world-renowned artists.
- Ugly Sweater Bar Crawl – December 15th (5pm – 11pm)
Dress appropriately in your favorite ugly sweater and come to enjoy some delicious beer, wine, and cocktails! The event starts at 5 PM at Buckhead Saloon in downtown Atlanta. General admission is $15.
