June 2019 The multi-million dollar makeover is nearing completion! Our newly remodeled lobby is anchored by an inviting hearth lounge providing warmth, ambiance and comfort. The reinvented space offers gathering spots for reading, mingling or relaxing; a modern-take on a welcoming Southern home. Reminiscent of a traditional front porch in concept and elevated in design, guests are greeted as neighbors and friends, invited to sip a sweet tea and stay awhile.
All 507 guest rooms and suites are currently being redesigned. Presenting easy nature-inspired elements, rooms and corridors offer a carefully-curated blend of art, custom wall coverings and decor, in soothing colors and patterns. The modern mix of rustic and feminine reveals organic order creating harmony and balance.
The Whitley Club Lounge will receive a makeover and will be temporarily be relocated to the Founders Room on the second floor from May 25 – June 13. The revamped lounge will reopen on the 18th floor on June 14.
The Spa is undergoing a restoration to enhance surroundings and expand the dressing areas for a more tranquil, relaxed environment. We’ll be adding a Himalayan salt room for an even more luxurious experience. The Spa will reopen in early June.
Trade Root Restaurant and Lounge will undergo a minor renovation in June. The restaurant will temporarily relocate to The Gallery from June 20 to August 14.
The Whitley guest room transformation is almost complete, but the journey is just beginning.
